We offer

•A key role in the Group Internal Communications team that provides strategic communications advice and hands-on support to the corporate functions and their respective leadership teams

•The opportunity to provide leadership to a team of 5 senior communications experts that run all corporate function communications

•Key account management for the corporate function Human Resources (HR)

•The opportunity to support the team members, as well as the HR Function, with the development and execution of effective communication plans to roll out initiatives, facilitate change and provide alignment to the business strategy

•Collaboration with internal stakeholders, subject matter experts as well as with the global communications and branding and marketing network to create communication messages that cohesively reflect bank-wide priorities and standards and engage employees

•The responsibility for content creation for internal communications events and cross-channel platforms, including the intranet, email and multimedia, ensuring a positive contribution to employee engagement and global alignment

•The chance to positively support the positioning of the Conduct and Ethics agenda of the bank through targeted initiatives in the functions

•A role to actively champion use of new media and technologies in the delivery of internal communications

•A role to assess and monitor communications effectiveness

•Open to discussing flexible/agile working


You offer

•Minimum three years of team leadership experience. You are a people-oriented leader, understand how to effectively build relationships and inspire your colleagues

•A Master’s degree and minimally eight years of experience in corporate communications, ideally with several years of functions communications

•Experience in internal communications, planning and strategy, storytelling and skills to execute effectively; strong writing and editing skills with great attention to detail

•Working experience in complex, matrix organizations and proven ability to work with and provide strategic counsel and practical advice to demanding senior management across geographies

•Extensive and proven experience in stakeholder management and strategic relationship building, especially comfortable at C-suite levels

•Strong influencing skills at every level of the organization; ability to gain consensus, managing sensitive situations and sensitive materials

•Highly self-motivated, goal driven and proactive self-starter who understands that the best results are achieved through team work; collaboration and partnering are key strengths

•Strategic thinking capabilities, yet still enjoy the hands-on work that is required in your daily tasks

•Excellent project management skills and proven ability to summarize complex concepts and translate ideas succinctly into compelling messages

•Proven ability to multi-task on a daily basis, managing ongoing initiatives as well as ad-hoc issues that require immediate attention

•Native German and fluent English skills
