Digital Scout and HR Technology Expert (80-100%)

It is an exciting time at Deloitte Switzerland as we embark on a journey to go “agile” in Human Resources. Against a business context that is rapidly evolving, we are going to build an HR environment that mirrors this.

Going “agile” essentially means that we will become more client-centric, forward looking, incorporating digital trends and building a service mindset.

Going “agile” also means that we will change “how” we work together, much more in temporary cross-functional teams (called squads), with rapid prototyping, stand-up meetings, sprints. All of this with the aim to deliver a best in class experience for employees and managers. With this in mind, all managerial roles in HR/Talent have been redefined. Next to your functional competence, we will pay special attention to an “agile mindset”.

Deloitte strives to solve clients’ most complex problems, and we believe it is our people who make Deloitte one of the best places to work, learn and grow. Our HR department will play a key role in this.

What will you do?

• Under the supervision of the People Services leader and in close collaboration with NWE, you will initiate the development and design of a mid- to long-term HR technology roadmap.
• You will continuously explore technology trends, assess how we could leverage technology to automate, innovate and make our HR/talent function and our talent management practices more efficient. You will closely cooperate with our Technology and Digital team in the business.
• You will help our HR/Talent team rapidly experiment, test and, if it makes sense, deploy programs, in close cooperation with other People Matter Experts and the People Services Team.
• You will continuously explore new HR/social trends, ideas and studies and propose new initiatives.
• You will analyze diverse sources of data and provide insightful recommendations for the development of people solutions connected to the use of HR technology.
• You will constantly innovate to improve the employee self-service experience (i.e. development of self-service tools, education, and intranet/knowledgebase) in close cooperation with the People Services Team.
• You will partner with cross-functional teams such as information security, facilities, and network engineering to deliver shared initiatives.
• You will promote moments to collect feedback on new ideas, proposed tests, and to gain broader alignment on key tech support decisions.

What kind of background will set you up for success?

• You have a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
• You are constantly exploring the new world of HR technology, have a keen eye on external HR technology trends and can assess which are relevant for us.
• You have a foundational understanding of HR IT infrastructure, networking, applications, and operations.
• You have been involved in implementing HR technology projects promoting the employee experience and providing stakeholders with the insights they need to take the right business decisions.
• You know what you are talking about when it comes to HR operations.

Who are we looking for?

• You feel comfortable with ambiguity and able to make well-informed decisions to achieve desired results.
• You embody our culture of agile through your attitude and interactions.
• You consider feedback as a gift and will enjoy every opportunity to learn.
• You are results driven and are comfortable asking challenging questions and seeking out-of-the box ideas.
• You exude curiosity about our business and learning agility and resilience come naturally to you.
• You value inclusion, diversity of opinions and people and are at your best collaborating in a team.
